21.01.2022 Thank you so much to Rural Aid for helping us get the backdrop and set done for our show Cunnamulla All Aboard , we are so appreciative for all your time and efforts. 20.01.2022 Getting there now.. still have the deck to do between the new and the old, but the theatre is coming together.
19.01.2022 Look at these bunch of amazing volunteers, did the most magnificent job in the time constraints they had. Cunnamulla sure does appreciate. Thank you Rural Aid and Cunnamulla & District Show Society Inc. You have lightened our load.
19.01.2022 New fence on the western side of the railway station, looks fantastic thanks to our neighbours, we love it...very rustic. Lawn seed is coming on as well, with a bit of green grass trying hard to beat the previous burr that was in this patch. Building improvements for kitchen and toilet fit out, balustrades and platform upgrades for the station building are still waiting on the final OK from Queensland Rail heritage and leasing. There has also been some re-negotiations with... QR as to what they will pay for, so more plans and quotes have been sort. We were hopeful for a September start, but until we get QR approval we wait, and wait and wait a bit longer. Saying this, they have been more than generous to the project and have assisted in many ways. We also have a couple of other projects starting up here soon, and will keep you updated as soon as we hear that they are going ahead. See more
11.01.2022 Lights are on at the All Aboard theatre, air conditioning is going in as well.
11.01.2022 Again, we have been incredibly lucky to find three locals to finish of the cornices and the plastering. Led by Lindsay Gaulton, with Aiden Stewart and Robert Hood. Bloody excellent job boys, recommend all of you to anyone.
