22.01.2022 YEAR 12 FORMAL This Friday night (20 Nov), our Year 12 students will attend their final event as a school student; the Year 12 Formal. As we are all aware, events out of our control this year have impacted on all aspects of our lives. The Year 12 Formal is one such aspect. ... We understand there are many community members who wish to watch the students arrive at the Formal. Although Qld restrictions ease this week, we are still required to abide by COVID-safe restrictions. With this in mind, a viewing area will be cordoned for spectators. We ask invited guests only to enter the Bowls Club property. We will be live streaming the student arrivals on our Facebook page from 6:30pm. COVID PLAN Social Distancing and Hygiene Persons attending the Formal are reminded to observe social distancing at all times when on site and use the widely available sanitisers on a regular basis. All persons entering the site will be required to compete the record of details as per our safety plan. REFUND POLICY Persons who have purchased tickets for the evening but fall ill prior to the event will be able to make application for a refund of their ticket cost by contacting the school office. Persons who attend the night but become ill will likewise be able to apply for a refund should this occur.

01.01.2022 Over the past two days, students have been participating in our annual barista course. Today they are showing their skills to the community at the Family Fun Day. Well done to all the students! A big thank you to Sophie & Chloe from Espresso Engine in Brisbane for teaching the art of coffee making. And also thank you to the Hope Project in facilitating the program. Carolyn Ramsay.
