One of the main reasons I have stuck with yoga for so long, and a big part of why I became a teacher, is the mental balance and stability this practice brings. The class isn’t just for beginners, it is for anyone curious about asana, Pranayama, and wanting to make their practice fit their body. We start each class by checking in- with our body and with our breath. ... Yesterday we covered Warrior II, Side Angle, Reverse Warrior, (the dreaded) Plank, and Dolphin for forearm stand prep. 06.01.2022 I got up this morning and had a 15 min little movement yoga sesh. Then my body was calling to just SIT. Breathe. Listen. Admittedly, this is not my morning every day. As much as I’m trying to create a morning ritual those 4:30am starts keep throwing me off. So, I enjoy it even more when I do start this way. HAVE A GREAT TUESDAY!
