08.01.2022 We have been spending lots of time over the last few weeks perfecting our mold making process and have finally got it almost perfect. Having really good molds reduces rework, which gives more time to experiment with new designs and glazes . Making one mold is relatively easy, Making 20 molds for production is tricky! Here’s our process for the Cyber Mug. . 1 Hours and hours of 3D modelling. 2 7 days of 3D printing. 3 Silicone molds made from the 3D printed parts.... 4 Plaster molds made from the silicone molds. 5Clay is poured into the mold. . Each plaster mold can make between 50 and 100 cups before we recycle it in the garden! Shout out to @hammerlyceramics and @jennyrijke for inspiration and sharing of their knowledge! @ Watson
