12.01.2022 COVID-19 Stage 1 Lockdown has begun. This is a very difficult time indeed for all of us. I do believe we can overcome this together. We will continue to provide our medical services, with a few changes placed to comply with the directives of Australian Government Department of Health. The following are the guidelines. 1. Patients with COVID-19 symptoms should seek medical help immediately. ... https://www.health.gov.au//what-you-need-to-know-about-cor 2. History of recent travel or contact with COVID19 positive individuals should be self-isolated for 2 weeks. https://www.health.gov.au//what-you-need-to-know-about-cor 3. We are limiting the number of patients per day so we are not going to be overcrowded. 4. All patients and guardians are to be screened with contactless thermometers. Those with fever will be given a mask and will be asked to follow instructions as required (1. Symptomatic patients). 5. All instruments, machines and patient beds will be cleaned with 70% alcohol after each individual patients. We will do our best to ensure all our patients and staff are protected. 03.01.2022 Update on Monday 25th March 2020 The Federal government has made a further detailed announcement regarding "non-essential" gatherings. We provide both medical and non-medical services. We also understand there may be borderline cases too. The medical category would include patients with eczema, psoriasis, acne, scars, skin cancers etc, but even some of these medical conditions may be considered as "non-essential" by some people.... We would encourage each individual patient to exercise their own judgement regarding how essential their purpose of visit may be. The treating doctors will then discuss with the patient further upon their arrival. We will continue to abide by all recommendations from AHPPC in order to protect our patients, community and staff. Thank you for your cooperation.
