25.01.2022 Alexa is clearly in her finest passive/aggressive mood. Again. Amazon Alexa technology has taken over Jacob Watton's house, along with her snide remarks. So, after having had the last straw with her wilful disobedience, Jacob decided to work with Alexa to create a hilarious and interactive performance experience.... Only thing is, Alexa has a mind of her own - and no two performances could possibly be the same! Proudly presented by Curious Arts Festival, this world-premiere performance is humanity vs technology...with a twist! 25.01.2022 If there was ever a show that calls for a socially-distanced gathering of your mates for a hilarious and fun night out, this is it! A gloriously 18+ show, the Brief Factory's Club Briefs pays homage to the traditions of circus, the extremities of physical theatre, the artistry of drag, the guts of burlesque, the imagery of theatre, the debauchery of speakeasies and the showmanship of cabaret. It's an unmissable extravaganza!... Click here for more info - https://bit.ly/2HnmFpt #clubbriefs #briefsfactory #curiousartsfestival

14.01.2022 It is with regret that, due to the rapidly changing situation associated with COVID-19, Festival Management has decided to postpone Curious Arts Festival 2020, including the performance by Judith Lucy, to a date later in the year. Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our audiences, artists, volunteers and our wider community and, while we are naturally disappointed, we feel that postponing to a later date will mean we can all enjoy a celebration of curious arts without the concerns that surround us all currently. Festival organisers will have more detail for you asap. In the meantime we encourage you to keep supporting artists and arts workers through this unprecedented period of hardship. #curiousartsfestival2020

10.01.2022 Following the announcement by Prime Minister Scott Morrison regarding the cancellation of gatherings of more than 500 people we, alongside our venue partner the Empire Theatre, are assessing each of our performances on a case by case basis based on expected audience numbers, in consultation with the artists impacted. At this stage we are seeking advice from our stakeholders regarding this unprecedented situation and will update you early next week.
