22.01.2022 Very sad that people are so greedy without thought for our seniors. Yes, times are tough and they’re going to get tougher. Come on big guys, do something about it @colessupermarkets @aldiaustralia @woolworths_au @igaaustralia @foodworks_aus
22.01.2022 YES, Markets have been cancelled. It’s not the end of the world. We have so many things to be thankful for. We’re healthy, we have a beautiful family, a roof over our head and food filling out belly. Love, laughter, dancing, relationships, reading, gardening, cooking have all NOT been cancelled. Let’s be grateful for who and what we have in our lives instead of whinging about what we can’t do. Peace and love . #covid19 #melb #mitchellshire #family #familycomesfirst #gladtobehealthyandalive # @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

17.01.2022 As we all continue to be impacted by COVID-19, I hope you all stay safe both physically and mentally.
17.01.2022 For the first time in 5 years we will not be attending Kruze4Kids. This fantastic not for profit car show and family day organised by Brad Radclyffe, his family and amazing team of volunteers who work tirelessly every year not just on the day but throughout the year to make sure it runs smoothly, organise the cars, bikes, trucks, prizes and rides just to name a few things. My family and I are proudly continuing the tradition and are wearing our Kruze4Kids t-shirts today even ...though due to COVID-19 the event has been cancelled. If you can, please jump on to the Kruze4Kids Facebook page or website and check out the items being auctioned and make a donation. I know times are tough, but there’s always someone out there doing it tougher. Curly Spuds will continue to support Kruze4Kids in any way we can and urge you to do the same. We are raising our glasses to an amazing human who for the first time will not be with us this Good Friday. Cheers to you Brad. #gonebutneverforgotten # #goodfridayappeal #kruze4kids #iso #carshows See more
17.01.2022 Just in case you missed it . . . Kingsbury Drive Community Market and Whittlesea Monday Market are closed until further notice. See you all in 2 months.
17.01.2022 Tacos for dinner tonight. Nothing beats home made tortillas. Once you’ve had them, you will never go back to eating store bought again. Meatless for me of course, but my boys enjoyed theirs immensely. #mexicanfood #iso #melbournelockdown2020 #feedingtimeatthezoo # #homemade #vegetarian #glutenfree

15.01.2022 To all our customers and fellow small business owners. As most of you know, due to the ‘non-essential gatherings ban’ all of our major events have been cancelled or postponed. As a small business owner it is very hard for me to hear about the hardships and the impact that COVID-19 is having on small businesses and not just the mobile food industry. We are still trading and will continue to do ...so until more government changes are put into place or I consider it too much of a risk for my family and myself . . . because my family comes first. You can find us at Kingsbury Drive Community Market this Sunday 22nd and Whittlesea Monday Market on the 23rd. Both markets are open 8am-1pm. Remember you can use tap and go to pay. Together we will get through this. # #kdcmarket #whittleseamondaymarket #supportsmallbusiness #shoplocal #bundooramarket #whittleseafoodie See more
12.01.2022 Australians all over the world honour those that served in the Great War, the Korean War, the Malayan Emergency, the Borneo Confrontation, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, the war in Afghanistan, the Iraq War, Operation Astute, the war on ISIL. Australia needs to acknowledge that we now have a new crop of veterans coming through. They are the parents you run into at school, someone who you deal with on a daily basis, someone who serves you at your local Bunnings or even one o...f your mates. In Australia, veterans only get 2 days a year in the spotlight, ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day, and then live the rest of the year relatively anonymously. So many veterans struggle with mental illness. This year it may be worse because of COVID-19 and the isolation we are all enduring. If you know a veteran, give them a call or send them a text just to say ‘G’Day’. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them. 05.01.2022 Have a fabulous week. Did you know..... Sunflowers turn according to the position of the sun. In other words, they chase the light. You might already know this, but there is another fact that you probably do not know! Have you ever wondered what happens on cloudy and rainy days when the sun is completely covered by clouds?... This is an interesting question, isn’t it? Perhaps you think the sunflower withers or turns its head towards the ground. Is this what crossed your mind? Well, that’s incorrect! This is what happens - They turn towards each other to share their energy. Nature’s perfection is amazing. Now let’s apply this reflection to our lives. Many people may become low-spirited, and the most vulnerable ones, sometimes, become depressed. How about following the example of the beautiful sunflowers i.e."Supporting and empowering each other". Nature has so much to teach us. Wishing everyone a "Sun flower" trait of turning towards each other on their cloudy and gloomy days. Spread goodness...it will come back to you.. #loveyourself #spreadkindness #haveagreatweek # See more
