23.01.2022 Santa arrived in the Currabubula Fire Truck yesterday which was once again a huge event. A big thank you to Santa and to our fire Chief Damien for giving up his time. I did mention that our RFS is in desperate need of new active members to keep this service going. Please let me know if you’d like to join up and I’ll point you the right direction. 07.01.2022 The Currabubula P&C Association this week made the hard decision to cancel our Christmas Market which was scheduled to occur on the first Sunday of December 202...0 We are going to miss seeing all our beautiful stall holders and welcome lots of visitors to our wonderful village, but our first priority is the health and safety of our community. We will be back next year bigger and better than ever and we can’t wait to see you all then Our next market will be Sunday the 2nd of May 2021 Stay safe everyone xx

05.01.2022 State Member for Tamworth, Kevin Anderson, has announced that a new weekly bus service from Tambar Springs via Premer, Spring Ridge, Caroona, Walhallow, Werris ...Creek and Currabubula to Tamworth is about to start on trial from Friday 26 June. To book, contact the operator Fiona’s Minibuses by calling (02) 6760 9084. Concession fares are available, including the $2.50 RED ticket. See accompanying timetables (click on photos individually to enlarge). Customers can also view the timetables on the webpage, https://transportnsw.info/regional-trials. The service will make it easier for locals to get into Tamworth and back for medical appointments, shopping or to catch up with family and friends plus connecting at Tamworth with NSW TrainLink services to Sydney.
