22.01.2022 Today we celebrated World Kindness Day, a day about promoting being kind to oneself, others and the world. At Curra we all put the ‘I’ in kind!

22.01.2022 The Infants class have been busy this week working to publish their Antarctica assignments. They have been learning to draft, edit and type pieces of work. We are so impressed with their efforts! One of their favourite things to do is Maths fitness time where they can complete obstacle courses whilst solving math problems. This is such a fun way to get our brains working!

22.01.2022 Today we went to Chocolate Ville and made delicious treats for Father’s Day. We made Rocky Road, Mars Bar slice, Licorice Allsort slice and Coconut Ice. We hope that everyone has a great weekend celebrating the inspiring male figures in our lives!

13.01.2022 Friday's are are one of our favourite days here at Curra School! Our assembly's give us a chance to reward students who have been working really hard and trying their best. This fortnights recipients have been showing amazing PBL values and we got the chance to give those amazing home readers their vouchers. We also have sporting schools continuing this term, with tennis lessons from North West Tennis Academy. The kids love learning new skills and we have no doubt that they will soon be Australian Open stars : )

12.01.2022 Our Curra Kids in the Kitchen catered for our Curra v’s Duri Cricket event today. 75 hamburgers were prepared and cooked to perfection which included caramelised onion and beetroot relish from last week’s cooking class. Best burger I’ve ever tasted was the quote of the day! Congratulations cooks and cricketers! Please enjoy some of the pics of the day.

11.01.2022 What a busy, fun filled Education Week the kids at Curra had! We topped it off with a book parade, assembly and cooking class on Friday. Our kids looked fantastic and really brought the theme 'Curious minds' to life. Congratulations to the Love of Learning award winners for this year, it was a hard choice as we have many amazing learners at our school.

11.01.2022 On Friday we made delicious caramelised onion and beetroot relish. Both can be served well on burgers, a grazing board or in a salad. Whatever you fancy to enjoy! These will be for sale from tomorrow for $3 a jar.
