17.01.2022 Reconnecting with nature during isolation Susan McNair You know what Ive noticed these past few weeks? How the birds come out to play following rain. Hundreds of them, searching for bugs, having a wash, just making a bit of noise. I dont expect this is a new phenomenon. I fully expect they have always done just that. The difference though? Ive had some space to notice. With the VLine commute on hold, kids sport in limbo, and no friends allowed over, Ive found myself ...more watchful and more appreciative of things I dont typically have time for, especially in the natural world around me. Like watching birds after rain. Taking time to pick from the veggie patch. Seeing the leaves turning on a daily walk. It seems nature is a tonic for me in this #stayhome paradigm. This revelation makes Curries commitment to work on projects that preserve our natural world, more personal and more of a priority for me. Its strengthened my resolve. We need to value nature and guarantee its a tonic for future generations. #CurrieForNature #BackToNature #NaturalCapital

05.01.2022 First things first at Currie, we see the possible. We are working towards a better tomorrow a kinder, fairer and safer future for all. Yet, were not the heroes of this story. The people and organisations that we work with are. Were grateful for their resilience, courage and imagination, and their trust in us. So, to mark Curries 30th birthday were saluting 30 of these heroes on our Instagram and Twitter feeds this week. Not all of them has a formal leadership title bu...t one thing they all have is our admiration. Our heroes include past and present clients, partners and colleagues. They go out of their way to empower or enable others. They are not afraid to start difficult conversations about solving complex problems. They are optimists and agents of change for the better. They share the credit for their success. They have brought out our best. We are who we are because of them. To each and every one of our heroes, we say thank you. You made us possible. #Currieturns30 #30years30heroes #markwrotethis See more
