We are now offering complete bulk billed Telehealth consults for most consults: * standard appointments * scripts, referrals & certificates... * mental health * care plans & chronic disease management. Please use Telehealth as your primary method of medical care to help with social distancing, but if you need a physical consult, we are here for you.

Please don’t be offended if we’re asking additional questions regarding symptoms or if the doctor is wearing protective gear, it’s a must to help slow the spread and protect our team and patients. ... 21.01.2022 In response to the unfolding Covid situation in Victoria, NSW & the recent Queensland threat the Currimundi Family Doctors team has made the decision to increase the level of Covid-19 precautions. What’s different? - Access to the practice will be through the second entrance again (skin clinic) - We will be asking screening questions to patients wanting to enter the practice & booking appointments.... - We will continue to provide phone & video consults - All patients with symptoms will be seen in one of our negative pressure respiratory rooms. - Our phones will be off from 12 - 1pm everyday to give reception a chance to do a thorough practice clean and disinfect (twice daily). - Please do not bring additional family, friends & carers to consults. Where possible, please only bring yourself and/ or child being seen. -We DO NOT swab for covid-19 but there are lots of options. Please see the link below for how to get covid tested. The good news: - Even if you are symptomatic, you will still be seen! For the sake of our other patients and team, give us the chance to do this in the safest way possible. - Telehealth is an easy and safe way to socially distance while still looking after your health, and it is bulk billed to existing patients! - We have 5 rooms set up as negative pressure and have had our facilities accredited by the Federal Governments Pandemic Team, to give our patients the safest way of coming to the doctors, even if we see community spread. - E-scripts (prescriptions on your smart phone) will be available this week for patient convenience. -For all of the information see the website: https://currimundifamilydoctors.com.au/covid19coronavirus/

If you are stuck for gift ideas the last 10 kids are aged between 8-14 and have wished for skating & scooting equipment, JB HiFi or movie vouchers. In addition to the kids, gift cards for the mentors who volunteer their time are greatly appreciated!... 05.01.2022 Bulk-Billed Telehealth now available with all our GPs! 1. Call reception on 53 141 321 and book a Telehealth appointment or select Telehealth on the online booking software as normal. 2. At your chosen appointment time the doctor will call. We have phone, facetime, skype, zoom or whatsapp video if necessary.... 3. The doctor can organise to have scripts, medical certificates, referrals, investigations etc sent to you or the pharmacy, pathology etc. 4. If you or the doctor decide you require a physical appointment they will schedule one for you. We have three dedicated telehealth doctors to handle the demand, and the rest are offering in-person appointments in addition to Telehealth. 5. If you are on a chronic disease management plan, we can do that as well- ask your doctor at the time of your consult and a nurse will schedule a convenient time to go through your management plan or review in detail. It's that easy. Don't forget, our doctors are committed to offering in-person consults in the practice and we have made extensive changes to ensure that you are treated safely, with adequate social distancing and precautions to help keep everyone as safe as possible.
