14.01.2022 #GIVINGTUESDAY SIX BABY KOALA JOEYS. ONE MORNING. MEET ASH, CHADWICK, LUCY, DEREK, BRONTE & SHORTCAKEHelp us save baby koala joeys by donating today, www.currumbinwildlifehospital.org.au Giving Tuesday is a global movement & we’d love to bring your attention to Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, one of the busiest wildlife hospitals in the world. This hospital treats, rehabilitates and releases almost 600 koalas per year. Our vet team did an amazing job of managing all koal...a joeys during their recent health checks. As adorable as these patients are, this is a HUGE task for our vet team. Each koala is very difficult to manage under general anaesthetic and it is high-risk so requires a lot of concentration. Good news is, all koalas are happy & well!! Let’s protect our iconic species Thank you Steve Holland Photography #currumbinwildlifehospital #koala #koalas #wildlife #playgoldcoast #queensland #thisisqueensland #australia #seeaustralia #animalsofinstagram #cute #donate #donatetoday Destination Gold Coast Visit Queensland, Australia Australia.com

Can you believe this is the 4th time Miss Kay has been admitted into Currumbin Wildlife Hospital!? Miss Kay has successfully been trea...ted for chlamydia in recent times. This time she was admitted because she was reported to be unwell in the wild hanging low in a tree How lucky that she could bring Noah into the world without passing on chlamydia to her baby More than half of the koalas admitted into Currumbin Wildlife Hospital are suffering from this disease & it costs $7000 to save each koala. Please donate today to save the future of koalas!
