25.01.2022 It's just about November and that means Toys for Tickets is back! From this Monday 2 November until 30 November, if you have a parking fine that is not overdue and was issued in a pay as you go area, you'll be able to pay the fine with the donation of a new toy to support the Parkerville Foundation for Christmas. Donations can be dropped off at the Security, Parking and Traffic Office - B115. You will also need to present the receipt to ensure it is new. Please note Toys for Tickets applies to pay as you go areas, fines received in ACROD, courtesy, reserved or short team areas, will not be able to be paid with a toy. We look forward to supporting this cause again this November

09.01.2022 In order to take advantage of the quiet period on campus, enabling works will be commencing in the B105 TL Robertson Library at the end of this month. Works will be carried out from Saturday 28 November until Semester 1 next year. From Monday 30 November, Curtin University Library services will be operating out of B303 while TL Robertson Building 105 closes for works over the Summer break. Visit library.curtin.edu.au/services for information on changes to services. In addition, works will close off a section of Henderson Court and Sir Charles Court Promenade will be temporarily closed until Semester 1 next year. Detour signage will be in place, please take care while in these areas. We apologise for any inconvenience these works cause and thank you for your patience during this time. We’ll keep you updated as works progress.

07.01.2022 We’re the first in Australia to be trialling digital electricity! Digital electricity is powering the lighting and ICT systems at our recently completed Yarning Circle. This form of electricity is transmitted along telecommunications cable instead of electrical cable. It’s easier and faster to install, safer than traditional electricity, can leverage off existing telecoms infrastructure, and is already widely used overseas. It can also transmit from renewable energy sources and generates less heat. This trial is important because it could lead to safer electricity across campus, improved sustainability outcomes and reduced costs.

05.01.2022 Just a note to say that some pathway closures around B100 will occur over the coming week as scaffold removal continues.
