Devoted husband and soulmate of Delwyn for over 60 years and now reunited again. Much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Tom & Rosie, Peter & Julie and Christine. We could not have asked for a better Father, he was always unselfish, helpful, and kind, what beautiful memories he has left behind. Treasured grandfather and pop to Wesley and Kate, Stacey, Montana, Simon and James. Loving great grandfather and Poppy Fred and FT to Jack, Lane, Estelle and Angus. This day will be remembered and quietly kept, no words are needed, we will never forget. Dearly loved by his brothers and sisters (now all deceased) especially his brother James (Bob) who was his best friend and lifetime workmate at their home, Gum Park Station. A true gentleman, selfless soul, dedicated Shepherd and family Historian who provided quiet words of wisdom and guidance and will be sadly missed by so many, the world is a sadder place without him. A rewarding and interesting long life well lived, but as you said so often Dad, I’m old and I’m tired, so sleep gently, your years of hard work are now complete and we could not have loved you more. Rest in Peace in God’s healing hands. Due to current COVID restrictions a private cremation was held in Adelaide.
