24.01.2022 It is so wonderful to see our ex racehorses in their new careers. This is Casimiro (Allan), Lasqueti Spirit’s little brother who was retired from racing in February this year. He has been retrained as an eventer and is 12 year old Bree Baker’s first OTTB. We wish them both a happy and successful association.
23.01.2022 All going well with the borders Cherie will be in attendance at the Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale from January 12th. This is a very exciting time every year for the stable. Unfortunately it will be a little different due to the border restrictions and Lee will stay home and manage the stable and help select horses remotely. Lee has visited most farms in the Hunter already and inspected approx 400 yearlings. ... 21.01.2022 Very pleased with the trial of Stariks today. Drawn wide and a little new, he found the line nicely. All going well he will race in the Breeders Plate at Randwick on Oct 3.

20.01.2022 Had a great day yesterday! We secured two new yearlings.. This beautiful girl was our first purchase of the day, Lot 270, a 3/4 sister in blood to our wonderful Meryl. Can’t thank the Cooks enough for buying us this beauty!

17.01.2022 Stable favourite Blazing has come back from a long lay off. His first up run at Warwick Farm a fortnight ago was lovely. Tonight he lines up at Canterbury in Race 6. He’s drawn awkward in 11 but has top hoop Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle. The team are delighted to have Blazing back up and racing and are looking forward to a successful prep with him.
