But when injury, wear and tear, or overuse take a toll on our bodies, we know that sometimes surgery is necessary to reduce pain and provide a better quality of life. The strength training that our #CurvesStrong workouts offer may help prepare a woman physically so she could have a faster and ...easier recovery. Some physical therapists refer to this as "Pre-hab". For example, someone undergoing knee surgery might benefit from strengthening the muscles around their knee in the months leading up to surgery. Its also important to strengthen other parts of your body that you may need to rely on post-surgery, like your core and arms.
