(Feel like my boobs look huge and low when I wear high neck garments) Im wearing the size 20 which is true to size. This is a WIN and its $20 so budget friendly. 21.01.2022 Stepped out of my comfort zone in two ways today. Got myself a bike and wearing my hair in braids. Wild hey! Now you might be thinking that they are pretty normal things, but we all have things in life that make us feel uncomfortable for various reasons which is okay. My hair has been stressing me out. Its constantly knotty and I havent been taking care of it as much as I normally do. A friend braided my hair and whilst I felt a bit self conscious initially Im ...so relieved that its not getting tangled. Plus I have a round face and just like how I look with my hair down. And the bike, I rode it today and its just going to take some getting used to. Send me all your tips as to how I can be more comfortable and also any good tracks around Brisbane. Ya know, easy ones! 12.01.2022 The image says it all. Im over seeing mainstream retailers using models who are too small for the clothes. If the sizes start at an 18 then dont use a size 14 as a model. And yes theres some small brands who represent an array of body sizes and do a fab job. But compared to the USA and the UK I just feel like we are so far behind. As a visibly fat/curvy/ plus size woman, I want to see how the clothes look on a fat body. 05.01.2022 Would you say you have a style? I find it really hard to describe my style when people ask me. Some days I can look really put together and other days I can look like and eccentric art teacher that has to wear ALL the colours. I am far from a fashionista, but over the years I have shared my outfits because I’m all about showing off my finds. If I feel great in an outfit I know somebody else might feel the same way. A huge part of my message is empowering women to look and fee...l good at any shape or size. Especially in a world where we are conditioned to believe that we will be happier, richer, and healthier in a smaller body. With plus size fashion becoming more readily available these days and a lot more people also sharing their outfits, there is inspo everywhere you look. I do love a bit of matchy matchy, for example I put on this @hm denim outfit and picked a slim cream belt to break up the bulk of the colour & bring my waist in. I mean, I don’t have much of a waste but it gives more of an illusion. I accessorised the outfit with @kmartaus flats (which have arch support and are on sale right now), my fave @lackofcoloraus hat and a @youandallboutique bag (new).
