24.01.2022 The new Mount Gambier airport is looking amazing! Thank you to Kennett Builders for using me to capture their progress shots. (shots taken 1 month ago) New images of the fully completed building to come in the coming weeks! Loving this architecture Kennett

22.01.2022 More action at Taylor and Erin’s house with the guys from Buildpro delivering the gyprock and insulation so the guys from Murph’s Plastering could get stuck int...o insulating and hanging sheets! Bruhn Stone also delivered the limestone to site early in the week, and then Chucky arrived Friday to get set up to start laying come Monday morning! Action afoot and all go at this job site next week! Slipped in a couple of little concreting jobs during the week getting the guys from Borderline concrete kerbing in with their excavator, to dig out and prepare the driveway areas back to the shed. Jake and Finn installed a stormwater grate connecting to the stormwater pipe under the existing footpath, allowing us to form a spoon drain in the concrete to be able to channel the water runoff from the driveway to the grate, and away in the stormwater drainage! Throw in helping Neal out with his driveway pour, we got our concreting fix in for the week! Cam and Nikki’s house progresses well also, with the Reilly Bricklaying boys all but finished except for the balance of blocks and sills to be delivered on site today, ready to tidy up Tuesday! Inside, Taylor finished laying and grouting the big floor area tiles and grouted up the wet areas early in the week, so he was all done ready for Crackers and Munna’s to start on the second fixing! Even found a nice indoor job for the boys Tuesday, to escape the relentless wind by doing a few more separating partition walls at the storage sheds! Boys have already done a heap of them, but still quite a few more to go, which is a very handy thing to have during our crazy spring/summer weather!

21.01.2022 Mark and Bianca’s house is about 3 weeks away from handover with finishing the water and stormwater lines complete and boxing up for the concrete moving ahead!... Inside, Pete’s been busy laying the vinyl planks from Somerfield Carpets ready for the carpet next week, and Shane has installed the Dollar Curtain Roller Blinds. Also installed a solar light to the vanity room, once again making a huge difference to what is normally a dark area of a home! Jake and Finn sorted out Melissa’s hot water supply issues with the installation of a new instantaneous hot water service, replacing the old electric unit! Reckon getting more than 3 showers out of the new unit won’t be a problem! Naomi and Connach can now safely come and go out the new front entrance and porch, getting the new concrete steps in place, rather than limestone block steps! Lick of paint Monday, and install a couple of lights after that, and this house has really transformed over the last few months! Marita and Todd also brightened up their passage, with a solar light installation last week, again showing how good a $500 investment can be, in one of those dark areas of a home! Taylor has pretty much got the tiling done at Belinda and Ian’s bathroom and toilet reno, allowing Jake to install the main toilet, taking the pressure off the en-suite toilet usage at all hours! Chucky has been busy getting Taylor and Erin’s alfresco stone work up, with the t-bar lintels the next required item to allow the completion of the stone!! Once Mike has them back from the galvanisers, and the stone is complete, Crackers and the guys can slip into fitting up the trusses, ready to get the roof covered! Helped out with another kitchen and laundry makeover for CKK this week. It really is good to have some nice cupboards in place, to compliment our quality plumbing! It is, however, a little concerning the type of character that we find just hanging around, seemingly levitating, in peoples laundry’s nowadays!

16.01.2022 Wheels up at Mount Gambier Airport After 2 years of construction and years of planning, today the $9.2m upgrade is completed and passengers can enjoy the n...ewly improved facilities at the Mount Gambier Airport. The Morrison Government invested $3.5 million into this project via the Building Better Regions Fund to ensure this long awaited and important infrastructure project could take shape. This project has not only created important jobs in the midst of an economic crisis, but the redeveloped facilities make for a more positive visitor experience for those visiting our region. 12.01.2022 A butlers pantry is the perfect addition to any home. This hidden pantry add so much storage to this stunning kitchen. Ps check out all that gorgeous light flowing through from the high line windows thanks to @zoewightonphotography

09.01.2022 Great job by Hylandfox with some new signs we put up yesterday

08.01.2022 The BLH team have been working behind the scenes refreshing our brochures, creating some new design facades and so much more....we can’t wait to share it all with you soon

07.01.2022 Another house completed this week, with the finishing touches being applied to Mark and Bianca’s home, ready to move in and start living their dream, which sta...rted with a vision over 12 months ago, while still living in and trying to sell their previous home! And what a beautiful home it is, which still seems to understate the finished result, as their fixture and decor selections throughout the home really are superb! And you always know how good a home has come up and been presented, when the variety of trades and workers all comment on how good the finished result is, bearing in mind, these people see finished houses every other day! Paul from Borderline concrete kerbing got the ball rolling Sunday knocking over the kerbing for us, so Jake and Finn could get stuck into finishing the pop up sprinkler system to the front and back yards this week, allowing Creeky to get the weedmat and bark in place to start the landscaping process! Meanwhile, Greg and the guys from Do It Yourself fencing smashed out getting the fences and gates in place, so we could start rolling out Adam’s (from Blue Lake Turf Supplies) early morning delivery of pallets of turf to site, to complete the outside picture! Even though Bianca had been very industrious cleaning areas as she went, before moving belongings in during the week, Tassie and his team from Apec Cleaning went in and finalised the cleaning process with meticulous care, completing the last piece of the puzzle of which set the sparkle to this beautiful house! With all this culminating by weeks end, once again it was with great pride and pleasure that we were able to hand the keys over to Mark, Bianca and the kids, to enjoy their beautiful new home, and wish them all the best for the future!
