09.01.2022 Just thought I would share with you how I do my polyurethane (oil based) coats on my table tops. The small lamp/side table has now had 10 coats and the coffee table has only had 6. Both these tables will have between 12-15 coats to give that glass look. Once both tables have had the final coat, I will wait 5-7 days for the polyurethane to fully cure and I will then sand both with a wet/dry 800, 1000 and 1500 grit to get a flat surface and then use a poly cut and polish to give a deep glass look! https://youtu.be/yPx4t9aDA8Q

04.01.2022 HALLWAY TABLE Started on the Black Wattle Hallway Table today. A few weeks ago I had already completed doing the router work so today was cleaning out the rotted sections and sand them back for filling. Using a metallic blue to fill the holes however will use a different (apple green) metallic for the river. Stay tuned.....
