06.01.2022 Chittering car day declared a huge success! The fourth annual Chittering car day has been declared another success by organisers. Car club chairman Roland Thoma...sson and P&F event organiser Holly Dewhirst both said their organisations were delighted with the day. We had about 140 vehicles from all makes and models, from a beautifully restored 1939 Ford Coe truck to a 1934 pickup Ratrod. The club would like to thank the owners of the cars and the public for their continued support of the day, he said. Mr Thomasson said he particularly wanted to express the clubs appreciation to the P & F for their organising of the many stalls and food vans that came on the day. We have established a great partnership with the P&F to present a quality event in Lower Chittering. We hope to continue this in 2020. The peoples choice awards were very popular with visitors as they voted for their favourite car. Results were 1st No 42 VW Samba bus, 2nd No 54 1939 Ford Coe, 3rd No 74 pickup Ratrod, 4th No 31 Camaro.
