22.01.2022 Found a fun fabric company in Canada that do limited run prints, with some amazing designs! Here is my 1st creation with their fabric, a super comfy bamboo t-shirt. Can't wait for the next few orders to arrive! Mostly planned for general wear items as opposed to dance wear, just for something different!!

22.01.2022 Packed away my stretch needles for a bit and worked on some Joey pouches to send over East for the animal rescue centers to use. Happy to do my bit to help, but it was a good reminder on why I rarely stitch with cotton these days! Took 3 attempts to get my first one correct, but got a bit faster after that!!

21.01.2022 Well, after a full day of cutting, I have all the pieces for 9 leotards!! Let the sewing commence!

18.01.2022 Having so much fun recently working on a costume for the youngest dancer I've ever made something for! Won't post any photos until after her comp so as to not spoil anything, but had the fitting today and it's looking great! Now to make it sparkle!!

08.01.2022 Just completed an order for my first skating client! She wanted a couple practice outfits, and had designs in mind, even supplied the fabrics! Love how they turned out, and she seemed pretty happy too!!

07.01.2022 Had the first fitting today, and I'm happy to say the 8 of the 9 leotards fitted perfectly, and the last one only needed a minor alteration. And while 6 of the 7 pairs of shorts needed altering, it was again minor. All alterations already completed. Now to make one last leotard and the biggest group costume set I've ever done will be complete!

06.01.2022 A little bit of quarantine sewing... a fun new leotard that can be for both Latin or Ballroom rehersal. Now for lockdown to end so I can actually wear it!!

02.01.2022 Made a new jacket for winter. Happy with how close it is to my design sketch, although I changed the hood to cowl, so now I have a super cozy built in scarf!!
