12.01.2022 We have been working with several friends to create a company which provides womens clothing, with proper and fully functional pockets! As such I would like to introduce you all to Quokka Pockets! Officially launching our first ready to wear garments - our black pants - with fully functional pockets via Kickstarter. The pants have pockets large enough to fit a modern smartphone with room to spare, they have enough belt loops so that if you wear a belt, itll keep your pants... up. The loops are also big enough to fit a normal belt. And theres also a half lining to the knee to provide comfort and to reinforce the inner thigh--you know, where most pants just rip. To back us go to bit.ly/QuokkaPockets We have two designs; - The classic quokka for people who have bodies who are more straight up and down. - A curvy quokka for people who are more curvaceous. And yes, we are size inclusive! You can also get the Kickstarter app in your favourite app store, so that you can pledge/order at any time, as well as checking in to see how the project is going, and showing your friends while out and about, because what woman or fem type person doesnt want pants with actual, real, usable, pockets??? Now. In order to actually produce these wonderful, mythical clothes, we need to at least raise $48,000 via Kickstarter. The reality of Kickstarter is that we need to be be hitting that target as close to launch as possible, or if not, we need to be getting a good portion of the way there as soon as possible, preferably within the first week. The faster we get the orders in, the more Kickstarters algorithm will showcase our campaign--and the more media coverage were likely to get. So if this is something you want, please pledge to support us as early as you can. You will only be charged for your pledge if we successfuly reach our funding goal by the end of our campaign, which is on the 15th of December. It is womens pants, in 2 different styles, to accommodate multiple body shapes, with REAL POCKETS! Like, the type where you could store a large phone, or your wallet and keys, without it falling out or digging into the crotch!... To help make this project a reality, we are running a kickstarter campaign. 07.01.2022 So, as many would have noticed, things have been incredibly quiet on here for quite some time. This was caused by a severe depression episode and meltdown that I (Anntoinette) as the designer and sole operator went through, back in May, which has taken many months to come back from. On a professional level, I dislike posting about my personal things here, as I worry that it will detract from the business (and all the pritty things), which to the best of my knowledge, is what ...people are following my page for. However I feel that those of you who follow my business, who are customers, clients, collegues, and fans, deserve to know what has been happening, and why it has been months of radio silence. I also feel, personally, that depression and other forms of mental and chronic illness need to be addressed more openly in order to help reduce the stigma around it and make it easier for people to recognise it, seek and get help when they need it. I am however, getting back on track, and as such, have some exciting news to share with you all.
