22.01.2022 Late night in the shed after meeting a few of the English players this evening and taking a few orders.... Pads are airing out on the high-tech drying rack ready for a trim in the morning and delivery tomorrow evening after a day at the real job. Unfortunately this job doesn't pay all the bills yet!

20.01.2022 A busy Sunday in the shed after meeting South African cricketers Dale Steyn, Faf du Plessis, Dean Elgar and Tabraiz Shamsi yesterday at their hotel. All pads custom made for them and ready to deliver to them and also JP Duminy ready for them to take to Perth for the first test next week! Have to say they were great blokes and enjoyed having a chat with them!
19.01.2022 Another referbishment for an English ODI player. Picked up last night and dropped back to the team hotel first thing this morning. A bit sad knowing Dad had made the originals a number of years ago and having to tear them apart.

19.01.2022 After years of seeing Remfry innovations copied by others, such as the current shape of thigh guards as apposed to the original rectangle shape i decided to try something ive noticed on other arm guards. Traditionally we used 2x50mm straps. Ive made one with 2x38mm straps and one with 50mm on the bottom and 38mm on top. Thanks to young Redback player Harry Nielsen who is going to try them both out and give some feedback. Even if i played cricket i couldn't bat for long enough to test them properly myself!

18.01.2022 Some more old classic Aussie TV with a classic cricket song to match.....Not too sure if it ever went as far as the Prime Minister though! Advertising back in the day that didn't cost a cent...Even the players who were pretty modestly paid to play back then happy to put in a spiel without wanting a truckload of $$$ for their endorsements as they would today.

Get some Remfry pads! 3 of the 5 South African players who got new thighs and inners earlier this week batted with them for the first time today and none were dissmissed. Captain Faf du Plessis and opener Dean Elgar both retired with centuries and Shamsi remained not out. Steyn and Duminy didn't get a bat so will be in the runs in the first test next week!
04.01.2022 Throw-back Thursday to 1989 when 4 years after making his first ever cricket pad, Dad had his 10 year old son sitting in the rooms at Adelaide Oval watching the cricket with the players! No ticket or security clearances needed back then. Just a, "He's with me, keep walking son" with anyone who questioned. I'm pretty sure he left me sitting with Clive Lloyd that day too while he ducked down to the old Chappell Bar the for a coupla beverages.
