12.01.2022 GRASS SEEDS IN THE PAW HOME REMEDY! Hi everyone..its that time of the year when your frantically checking for those pesky grass seeds... Next time your furry mate gets a grass seed in the paw please don't run off to the vet before giving MAGNOPLASM a go. You will find it at the chemist and its a drawing agent.Place magnoplasm over the grass seed entry and wrap your dogs paw so that it can do its job.... If you have an Elizabethan collar handy then please use it to discourage your dog from annoying the paw. Allow 24 hours before removing bandage and if you can see the seed remove it, if not then repeat with magnoplasm for another 24hrs.This is safe to repeat until the seed comes out but should only take a couple of days.. Another solution if you don't have magnoplasm handy is a mixture of sugar and water..mix it into a paste, apply to paw, wrap paw with a bandage and then with cling wrap. simple home remedies that work and can save you a fortune at the vets. Please note that I do not suggest that you try to remove grass seeds form nose or ears with this method.. that's a job for the vet Take care everyone!..

09.01.2022 Hi Everyone..It is with a heavy heart that I have to say that 26 years of grooming has taken its toll on my back.I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis throughout my spine with 6 damaged discs,.2 of those damaged discs sit in the middle of my upper back and my neck. I am finding myself in considerable pain after grooming the larger, heavier breeds. In order to continue loving what I do for years to come I will no longer be taking on new large dogs heavier than 30kg {eg:Groodles,Golden Retrievers,Labradors,Rottweilers,German Shepherds} All existing customers with large dogs will still be groomed. This has been the hardest decision to make and one for which I am heartbroken over...

Even after 27 years grooming every grooming day is different..some quite challenging but always rewarding and to be able to offer alternate health care solutions on top of my grooming for pooches needing that extra help just makes me so happy to make a difference..
