14.01.2022 A little info for prospective property buyers from a finance point of view. NAB announced as of 16th July 2018 that it will no longer complete full credit assessment for Approval in Principle (AIP) loans. What this means for you as a NAB customer is that you are not covered by an approval when you are looking for a property, so the system generated approval provided by them is not verified nor worth the paper its written on. This is particularly important when making offers on a purchase & if you are heading to auction. Its best to utilise a broker who has access to the full market of lenders who will set you up with a properly assessed loan approval. As the old saying goes, "Its better to be safe than sorry"

13.01.2022 Latest Corelogic results on property values. I would expect further declines over the next 12 - 18 months given the current market & tightening conditions.

06.01.2022 A very good simple explanation to the outcome of the Royal Commission findings of Monday by Tom Elliot. For those of you who don't understand the ramifiactions to the broking industry or the consumer (ie - the Australian public) at the end of the day, i urge you to please have a listen. In terms of the recent Royal Commission I personally have not seen such rubbish put to the public since "Dude Wheres My Car" was released. Everyone needs to get educated on the value of the b...roking industry to the consumer & not be miss-lead by the single-minded view of a retired Judge who clearly knows very little about the financial industry.
