24.01.2022 The Reserve Bank of Australia chose to leave interests rates on hold at 4.75%, despite calls from certain sectors of the business and financial world to increase rates. This will come as welcome news to mortgage holders.



18.01.2022 ASIC is promising to challenge high exit fees currently being charged by banks and other lenders. The aim is to increase competition by making it more affordable for consumers to switch lenders. ANZ has already pre-empted ASIC's move by abolishing exit fees entirely, whilst at the same time announcing an increase of 0.39% on their variable interest rate.
