21.01.2022 To My Valued Clients and Dear Friends Firstly, I want you all to know how grateful I am for your support over the years. Without you I wouldn’t be where I am today and for that I am so so T. H. A. N. K. F. U. L. !!! I am saddened to announce that I am no longer going to be running my Mobile Hairdressing Business. Life has changed direction for me and because of this some new doors have started opening !! This excites me and upsets me at the same time. I am sad to no l...onger be able to cut all of your hair but I am so excited for this next chapter in my life ! I hope you all can understand and please know I have enjoyed all of our time spent together in the last 6-7 years ! Some of you have been here since the very beginning and I appreciate your support and loyalty more than anything !! I will be cutting hair for 2 more weeks and anyone who has an Appointment and has NOT BEEN CONTACTED ALREADY to cancel it will have their Haircut as usual ! 12.01.2022 A Message To My Valued Clients Due to the ongoing cancellations I have had to make a few changes to my business structure to account for lost income. I have decided to include a fee for last minute cancellations going forward. As you all know, I am a small business owner and your haircuts are my sole income. If I have cancellations without good reason I have no chance to fill the spot and no way of recovering lost income. There are also other clients who are eagerly await...ing a spot and would enable me to recover the loss. Emergencies are a completely different story and I am very accomodating around those, but inconvenience of the timing of the appointment or poor time management does not count as an emergency, and therefore will have to incur a fee. A non negotiable $10 surcharge will be added to your next appointment if you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled time. This is a small fee compared to many other professions. It’s very disappointing for me to have to put this into place but there has been an increasing amount of people who have cancelled a Day, Hour or even at the time of their appointment after receiving reminder texts and confirming not even 12 hours before. I can only remind you as much as I already do as that takes plenty of time out of my day to sit and text each person individually as I do. I hope you all understand that I am trying to do my best by all of you all the time, fitting you in last minute or after hours, squeezing in your child or husband without notice, offering you family discounts, letting you pay a week after your appointment when times are tough, I give 110% to each and every one of you, please, value me as I value you.
