22.01.2022 To all of our wonderful clients, We are almost there! The Victorian Government has advised that the earliest date we can safely re open will be Monday 19th October 2020. This date may be subject to change if otherwise advised by the Victorian Government but at this stage we are planning to reopen on this date We will open the salon a little later then usual on this day to ensure we have plenty of time to complete a deep clean of the salon. 21.01.2022 Stage 2 Update: Hi Everyone, We are still open for the moment but have implemented more health and safety precautions (in addition to the ones mentioned in previous posts). As you have no doubt heard we are unable to have clients in the salon for longer than 30mins per person from tomorrow. To ensure we comply with the social distancing requirements within the salon we have implemented the following:... - We have removed many of the chairs/workstations to limit the number of clients in the salon at one time and ensure at least 1.5m distance between workstations. - We ask that clients wait in their cars before appointment times and if necessary call the salon (9783 7939) to provide your phone number and we can call you when your hairdresser is ready and the workstation has been vacated and cleaned. - We are spacing out appointments further to limit the number of people in the salon at one time. We may need to contact some clients (who we have phone numbers for) to adjust appointment times to ensure we continue to comply with this requirement. Any appointments that have already been made from tomorrow for colours or longer services will need to be reconsidered given the 30min service time limit. Please contact the salon if you are unsure about what can be achieved in that time frame and we would be happy to discuss. 21.01.2022 To our lovely clients, We trust that you are all well and managing the tide of emotions during these unique and challenging times. Given the evolving COVID-19 situation we wanted to touch base with you all to inform you of the precautions we are taking in the salon.... We would like to assure you that we have been closely monitoring the situation and advice provided by the Department of Health and State Government. The health and safety of our clients, staff and the community is our first priority and as a result we have increased our usual hygiene practices further to help keep us all healthy. All staff at Cutting Edge are currently well however if they become unwell or showing symptoms of illness they are to remain home. We have hand sanitizer and antibacterial hand wash available for clients as well as staff to use between clients and throughout the day. Staff are also using hospital grade disinfectant on our equipment and surfaces throughout each day. What we ask of you: - If you are feeling unwell or have flu like symptoms please contact the salon and reschedule your appointment for when you are well and it’s safe to do so. There are no cancellation charges. - If you have travelled overseas in the last 21 days please contact the salon and reschedule your appointment. 08.01.2022 Following the receipt of feedback on the practical implementation of measures announced regarding barbers and hairdressers it was agreed by Premiers and Chi...ef Ministers at National Cabinet last night that the instruction regarding 30 minutes per patron will be lifted (effective immediately), but that the 4sqm rule per person must be strictly observed within the premises and that personal contact during the patron’s visit should be minimised wherever possible. 04.01.2022 A couple of recent colours Just to let you all know we are trading normal hours, although have been closing earlier on occasion if there are no appointments booked in. Booked appointments are preferred as it’s easier to plan and limit the number of people in the salon at the same time.
