23.01.2022 I have finally completed the large Fibonacci Spiral and given t the first oil bath. This has been a huge project with approximately 40 glue ups and countless lengths of Jarrah veneer. Coming in at 540 x 560 x40mm and around 7.5kg its a beast of a cutting board.... 21.01.2022 Heres the beginning of the two large Jarrah butchers block currently being made. Simply a very large and thick cutting board, however the scale brings its own issues. Ive made 2 panels for each board as I thought that managing A Jarrah panel 1300x500x55 would be a bit hard. Both panels are made from the same timber and the strips are all the same size so that the pattern matches you down the length of the board.... Ill drum sand all the strips tomorrow and then glue up each board. This Jarrah does have some prominent gum veins so there will be a bit of epoxy going on to fill those void. 13.01.2022 I finally installed the USB charging station shelves into the local hotel this week. Just a simple batten fixed to the wall and the shelving was fixed through the batten from underneath. I routed out the back of the upright to give me room to run the cabling between the 2 DGPOs... One more coat of wipe on poly is going on once the rooms are painted.
