23.01.2022 Cutting Hedge will be closed for the next 10 days as we take a short holiday for a friends' wedding. We will back in business from Monday the 13th November. Thank you to all our wonderful customers that have been so understanding. We look forward to seeing you and your gardens soon.

13.01.2022 I saw this gorgeous blooming lily (excuse the pun ) and wanted to share it with you all. Calla Lilies are beautiful plants to have in the garden, especially at this time of the year! The Calla Lily originates from South Africa. They come in many colours and are easy to care for. Interestingly, Calla Lilies are not really lilies.... And lastly, take care when planting or removing a Calla Lily around children and pets. Their roots are poisonous. I don't think that would stop me from having them in the front garden. See more

09.01.2022 We're back!!! We had a great holiday and an amazing experience in Nha Trang! We arrived in Nha Trang just a few days after Typhoon Damrey. The damage it caused was astounding but the resilience of local people was breathtaking!... A typhoon is a mature tropical cyclone that only occurs in the northern hemisphere. Vietnam has not experienced one in almost 70 years. Typhoon Damrey has taken more than 100 lives, injured upwards of 200 and, last we heard there were 18 people still missing. We've just been informed that Vietnam is now bracing for another storm. Typhoon Kaikui is fast approaching through the South China Sea. We realise just how lucky we are to have been traveling in between these two storms and to have arrived home safe and sound. Our thoughts are with the Vietnamese people in these troubling times.
