24.01.2022 Happy UK mother's day Love you mum. I always wanted to be a mother and have had the honour and privilege of being one. It's a beautiful and tough road. I am bringing a man and a woman into this world. Oh the things I want for them both I love them with all my heart and I stand strong for them. It's a complex road but I know I walk alongside all the other parents fighting to raise good children in the face of instant social media, unrealistic body images, abuse, depre...ssion, news media that reports pain, pornography. I could go on....I won't. And to those on this day who have difficult relationships with their mothers, whose mum's are no longer with us, who have lost a child, who are unable to conceive, who simply don't want to be a mother - my heart is alongside yours. We are woman. We endure. We sacrifice. We are beautiful and strong. May we fight together for reforms on issues of reproductive rights, domestic violence, maternity leave, equal pay, women's suffrage, sexual harassment, and sexual violence for all of our children. And may the men who love us fight right alongside us. For men of quality do not fear equality. I called this quick sketch "to love and be loved". 20.01.2022 Hello 2020. A happy new year to you all As you will be aware Australia has seen unprecedented fires and destruction of habitat and homes. Lives have been lost on an horrific scale. Most rescue organisations have been so inundated with donations they are now asking for funds. Those receiving so many funds have now pointed us to places that have not received as much funding as them. ... This is why I am sharing this link. I am English born and so very lucky to call Australia my home. People are working tirelessly around the clock. Conservation programmes are still in full swing. This is a disaster on a scale we have never seen before.
