Business end now and with one round to play of the regular season, A’s and B’s have already qualified for finals and both bidding for Minor Premierships with a win ne...xt round. C’s will contest the Consolation Cup and aim to stick a third piece of silverware this season in our yet to be mounted cabinet and possibly already in need of an extension! Giddy-up lads! - Sh*ts gettin real!! Upcoming events: Retro Preso: Friday 2nd August at the Tav. Will also be our Finals launch. Reverse Draw: A great night and fundraiser. Mid September. 11.01.2022 An amazing show today, finding it difficult to put into words just how good these guys were. A big thank you to Matt Tonks for the and an even bigger thanks to this incredible man Stephen Curry (Bloke with hat on) Stay tuned podcast of the show to come.

11.01.2022 The One Third Season Report.. At the end of Round 3, essentially a third of the way through the SMCA season, it’s time to reflect and see how our three team club is travelling.. A Grade (Div5) 3 wins from 3. Ladder position: 1st. The boys are on fire! Captain Cal has this engine sparking on all plugs, and if a plug misfires, other plugs seem to step up with extra spark. A well balanced and cohesive team defending a premiership with only one loss in the past season and a hal...f, we are a super chance to book another spot in the trophy cabinet on current form. Notable achievements: Winning the first game of the season by 234 runs, total six individual retired 40 not outs over 3 games, Owen 5 for 10 (Rnd1) Notable Observation: The elevation from Div 7 last year has somehow made us stronger! Rating: The Cocktail Lounge B Grade (Div 8) 2 wins from 3. Ladder position: 4th. Our mixture of a core crew, C’s stepping up and A’s keeping their eye in is looking like we will be competitive in this division. Pres Beech is sharing the love and the captaincy and some of the younger fellas are showing us that the club is in great shape for the future. Keep it going lads, we can do this! Notable achievements: Half Centuries to Adam (x2) and Mark Notable Observation: We don’t think Ranga will be surfing the beaches of Coogee anytime soon Rating: The Saloon Bar C Grade (Div 10) 1 win from 3. Ladder position: 5th. Our hit and giggle squad are having a heaps good time. We feel the next win is just around the corner. We’re not quite sure which corner but there’s gotta be one somewhere between the mountains and the city. Captain Mal is steering this ship of eclectic characters through relentless waves of mirth and banter and sometimes we even forget there is a game of cricket involved. Lots of fun, lots of laughs and tons of spirit this team is going places, whether there is a corner or not! Notable achievements: Half Centuries to Joel and Darby, and Jimmy just falling short of a century (98) Notable Observation: If this cricket thing doesn’t work out, we could join any circus Rating: The Public Bar

11.01.2022 What a great experience with a great bunch of fellas. Honouring the memory of Cuzza with some laughs, a few tears and messages of reaching out and support. A really well put together show. Congrats to the team of One Source One Team at Radio Blue Mountains 89.1, it was a pleasure to be part of. And kudos to Cal for coming on air with 5 minutes notice!

10.01.2022 Here 'tis as promised. The podcast of yesterday's Mens Mental Health Show on Radio Blue Mountains hosted by Bradley Spillane. It pretty much has a bit of everything. If you get a chance, set aside an hour or so and please LLS.. (Listen, Like, Share).. Has some really good messages and stories of how the Cuzza Canes formed and evolved, a great bunch of people (present and deceased) and cool live music..

09.01.2022 A cracking game of cricket at Smith Park today saw the Cuzza Canes B’s snatch victory in the final over by just 7 runs. Our opponents the Chatswood Gypsies gave it a red hot crack chasing our 252 but some superb death bowling by Dok and Jimmy brought home the bacon with 3 balls to spare. Edge of your seat stuff! Not real good for the ticker but!!Congrats boys!

05.01.2022 2019 PREMIERS!!! Grand Final wrap... Won the toss and had a bat. Knocked up 201 on a big ground, 5 down. Tony, Marc and Chase all in the bank. Their run chase was solid and we got their superstar, who is restricted to bat at 9, out to the worst ball Owen has ever bowled in his life. Dok got his 50th Cuzza wicket on his second last ball of the season. Won by 54. Great day. Great win. Whole team contribution. Undefeated Premiers. This group under the guidance of Cal has won 18 of their past 19 games together. Back to back to back for the club and back to back for the A’s. Pretty stoked. Cuzza would be super proud.

04.01.2022 Getting ready for a HUGE night! Still a couple of last minute spots..

04.01.2022 Mad Monday celebrations break for a presentation to our awesome sponsor Winmalee Tavern in appreciation for their on going support. And before anybody asks, what happens in peg club, stays in peg club..

03.01.2022 Beech & Darby model the new Cuzza Canes playing and club shirts

02.01.2022 The end of the regular season has seen the A’s undefeated Minor Premiers, the B’s robbed of a Minor Premiership through a technicality but still contesting a Major Semi-Final, and the C’s qualifying for the Consolation Cup. All Hands on Deck!! All Cuzza Canes full membership players have qualified for at least one grade so we are ALL playing finals cricket. That’s a great club achievement and whatever happens from this point we can all be proud of our individual and collecti...ve performances throughout the year to get us to this point. We’re all in this together lads! Let’s support each other and our club and gear up for finals, the best vs the best, bring it on! Go Cuzza’s!!! Cheers Beech See more

01.01.2022 The Cuzza Canes A’s boys celebrating victory at the Tav. Only by one wicket this time, but the win is in the book! Still undefeated!! Go Cuzza’s!!!
