15.01.2022 Few little tips when you do a re-roof / 1/get your roofer to check your facias for any rotten timber/replace timber that needs to be replaced /2/ paint before your new gutters get install .saves a lot of hassle in the Long term/ 3/ another tip is for your .heating .cooling . energy saver .Install insolation/1 /check to see if you have insolation above your ceilings Between the ceiling joists /2/before your new roof goes on install roofing blanket .Which is a insolation that... goes underneath your new roofing iron :this stops a lot of heat in your roof space /4/ ventilation in your roof space between the ceiling and your roof structure is to have vents put in your Eveline /install vents that open and close/open in summer/ Close in winter/install whirlybirds /at the highest peak of your roof which is called your top ridge/you might need a couple depending on your roof size . Which helps move the hot air out of your roof : another little tip . Downpipes /more downpipes you have /better the water flow: /1/Keep gutters and downpipes clean. As much as possible/2:stops water going back in your Eveline /Stops damaging your walls and eves / /3/ long periods of time if you have not got your water flow properly ..it causes rotten timber .mould in your Evelyne /mould in your House.. where there is moisture for long periods it also attracts (white ants)They are nasty ....so water flow is a good key To keep your gutters clean .. install gutter guard ..
