23.01.2022 What a great day today at Bosnjak Oval. We had the privilege of hosting the Coogee Dolphins and the Terrigal Sharks such a lovely bunch of men in both sides. Thankyou Michael Golden for giving us this opportunity. It's been awhile since we have had A grade sides at our field.

21.01.2022 Hi everyone. Hope you have all been keeping safe. We are holding our AGM ( Annual General Meeting) on the 31st of October at 10am at Bosnjak Oval our home ground. This meeting is to let you all know about this year and what we will do going forward for next year. If you can spare an hour or so of your time it would be great to see you all there. If not thats ok too. This meeting is also for voting in Committee members. Only those that had a registered child this year can vote. Strictly Members only. Cvd Cobras Committee.

15.01.2022 Come play Rugby League at Cobras In 2021. We will be at Bonnyrigg Plaza for Rego sign up on the following date from - 5pm - 8pm. Thursday 14th January 2021 & we will also be at Fairfield Markets on Saturday 23rd January, 2021 for Registrations hope to see you all there.

14.01.2022 To All our Cobras Good morning everyone, I have had a meeting with Parramatta and then had a meeting with our committee , weighing up all our options to continue this season...it is with great sadness that we will not be able to continue our season this year due many reasons. 1. We have been advised my parents that several of our players will not return this year due to risks of the current Covid 19 virus and their concerns for Health and Safety of their children with t...he current situation. 2. We have been advised that we and all clubs would need to appoint a covid officer and the duties they would have to do we could not police . 3. Also we rely on our canteen for funding and we cannot make money this year due to certain restrictions put on all clubs and their facilities. These are just a few of a long list of commitments to continue this season. We would like to also advise that all Registrations will roll over for 2021. Also all the team gear issued for this year we will use for next year. Please keep looking at our facebook page as we would like to get the kids together for BBQs etc...once we are able to. We will also be having our end of year gathering if restrictions are lifted...any questions please dont hesitate to ask. Ali Gonzalez CVD Cobras Secretary.

05.01.2022 Just an insight on what the Committee do behind the scenes. Last night we all attended a session to learn how to use the defibrillator that had been installed in our canteen. Well done boys you both did a fantastic job.

03.01.2022 RULE CHANGES FOR THE 2021 SEASON FOR THE INTERNATIONAL LAWS OF THE GAME FROM NRL DOWN TO U13S!! Word has come through that the following rules that were impleme...nted in the NRL will now filter down to ALL International age groups as per the request of the ARLC The changes are: Premature Breaking from the Scrum Where a player(s) break from the scrum before the referee’s call of ‘break’, a full penalty will be awarded to the non-offending team. The team receiving the penalty will have the option of re-packing the scrum. If the scrum is re-packed and a player(s) again break before the referee is satisfied the ball has emerged correctly from the scrum, a further penalty will be awarded, and one of the offending players will be sent to the Sin-Bin. Play-the-Ball Restarts after ball or player finds touch. Where play is stopped because the ball or a player in possession of the ball has entered touch in general play, other than a restart (kick-off, goal-line drop-out, 20-metre drop-out or 20-metre optional restart), a 40/20, play will restart with a Play-the-Ball by the non-offending team. The position of the Play-the-Ball will be 20-metres from the touchline and no closer than 10-metres from a goal line. The referee will give ‘reasonable’ time to restart play. 2 Point Field Goal. Two points will be awarded for a successful field goal kicked during general play from outside the opposition 40-metre line. These changes will be included in the 2021, International Laws of the Games & Notes. Would love to hear your thoughts on this??
