As part of a world first live broadcast of a segment of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child CVP supplied an LED screen to audience members at the Princess Theatre to watch the live broadcast from the The Helpmann Awards main site before the live cross!

This includes 2 remote HD live crosses and on-site video conference integration. All supported with live captioning for viewers at home. 18.01.2022 Things were most definitely deadly this January at CVP! We became feared at most airports as we arrived with over 20 cases of props and equipment to be checked in as luggage. Touring Multiple large screen HD projection systems and enough props to start a small zoo for Deadly Down Under with Steve Backshall we stopped at 19 venues in some of Australia’s most beautiful regional and metropolitan towns. With over 40 shows it was our biggest Deadly Live tour to date and we’ve loved sharing this amazing show with kids (and kids at heart) around Australia!

15.01.2022 What an incredible weekend it’s been for our CVP team! This weekend CVP staff (and equipment) were working on events in VIC, QLD, NSW, TAS and New Zealand for events including simultaneous A Day On The greens (featuring James Blunt, Pete Murray and The Living End and Spiderbait), New Zealand Festival and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra plus events in metro and regional Victoria including the Ballarat Lyric Theatre Co. And Spinifex Gum with Christine Anu and Peter Garret. In total we had 75sqM of 2.9mm LED, 2 Outside Broadcast trucks, 11 camera systems, a fully redundant film playback system and conductor playback systems all running on different events in Aus and NZ (plus 17 dedicated crew members!) just another Weekend @CVP

Darren Kowacki is joining us as a Senior Production Manager working alongside Cal Walker and Mark Edge. Darren brings a wealth of stage and production management expertise with him. Welcome aboard!

14.01.2022 Wonka's factory doors are opening for it's first preview performance today of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Australia! CVP had the pleasure of providing a Disguise (D3) programmer and production management services for cast filming for this truly magical show! It's been a real joy helping bring Jeff Sugg's video designs to life, we hope our friends and family in Sydney and beyond enjoy the show!

13.01.2022 We’re up at the Healesville Memo Hall powering the Yarra Valley Writers Festival bringing remote guests to viewers at home, while integrating live on-site hosts/musicians. We’re so excited to be a part of this inaugural event and allow it to continue, even if slightly different to how anyone planned!

11.01.2022 Here at CVP we video nerds loved watching the latest toys being used at the Eurovision Song Contest, especially when some of the toys are ones that we own!!! We have recently purchased some Disguise media servers. These bad boys join our fleet of media servers including Watchout, MBox, Catalyst and Wings Platinum, as well as the good old workhorse QLab. Not only have we bought Disguise... but we have a container load of new goodies landing in our driveway next week.... stay tuned... This year we are able to once again deliver a stunning 40m x 40m floor-projection system driven by our new Dataton Watchout System, 7 camera imag system and video distribution infrastructure for all around Hisense Arena! CVP would like to congratulate the amazingly talented students on the video team who have been given the opportunity to direct and operat...e the live to screen camera system in the arena and look forward to seeing them use these skills in the future.
