25.01.2022 Good afternoon friends The Country Women’s Association of NSW Orange branch is again hosting a special (Covid-19 safe) celebration for International Women’s Day on Friday 5 March 2021 from 4pm to 6pm at The Oriana Orange, 178-184 Woodward Street. After a year of lockdowns, home schooling, social distancing and little social interaction we are ready for some pure relaxation with a touch of upmarket glamour. How about you? Think. No tiring set up. No preparation and carting of... food to the venue. No messy post event cleaning. No agenda! Just you with a sparkling glass of bubbles or Provençal rosé (or something soft) in one hand and a some delicious morsel in the other. You and your women friends are all invited and of course men are welcome. (However they have to pay an extra 15.3% to cover the gender pay gap!) Please join us on 5 March 2021 because you’ve earned it. 04.01.2022 The CWA of NSW is highlighting domestic violence as an emergency situation this 'Awareness Week'. Locally we are asking people to consider donating to Bernardos LINKER program, or the Housing Plus Orchard refuge centre. You could do this directly, or via our branch account.
