17.01.2022 STOP PRESS! STOP PRESS! Currently out of stock! Thanks to our fabulous supporters. No supplies available at our outlets at the King River Cafe in Oxley and the Milawa post office in Milawa at present. We are still very busy sewing and hope to have our outlets fully stocked early next week.... This message is not applicable to people who have ordered masks through me personally. 15.01.2022 Final Branch meeting and dinner last night (12 December 2019) at the King River Cafe in Oxley. We are very happy with what we’ve achieved in our first four months of operation!

14.01.2022 We are very pleased to advise we now have three outlets where our masks are available for sale: - Londrigan Finer Foods, 130 Rowan Street, Wangaratta - The Oxley Roadhouse, 1152 Snow Road, Oxley - Milawa Post Office, 1604 Snow Road, Milawa ... All masks are $10 each. Two options are available - made with elastic or soft ties, for tying around the back of your head. Plain and patterned fabrics. 12.01.2022 BEAT THE SHOW SCONE RECORD ATTEMPT! Last year at the Royal Melbourne Show, the CWA of Victoria Inc. set a new record for scones made during the show: 15,565. Although we can’t be at the Show this year, we will be trying to break our record by baking and selling scones all over Victoria on Saturday 17th October 2020. Branches across the state are cooking up thousands of scones for you to buy for $1.50 each. ... We need your help to beat our annual scone record. Help support the organisation that supports women and children, families and those vulnerable in our community. Join this historic event! Contact your local branch, to see if they are participating. 09.01.2022 Today, 2 November 2019 was the 40th Annual Oxley Bush Market ... and our newly formed CWA Oxley and Milawa Branch also made their first public debut - we had our own stall, selling CWA merchandise - books and linen tea towels. A group of 12 women made 340 bags of biscuits and slices, all sweet in flavour like marshmallows, honey Joys, Anzac biscuits and slice, shortbread, chocolate chip, chocolate oat, jam drops, yo yo’s, cranberry and currant, cornflake biscuits! A big learning curve for us! A very successful start for our new Branch. The CWA are in action ... Our first client was local Oxley identity Neil Brock! Thank you Neil ...
