18.01.2022 Hi all, here's an image of Mars from two nights ago in true colour RGB. Olympus Mons is prominent near the top of the image and some thin cloud can be seen ov...er Arsia Mons just right of centre. The south polar cap is quite small now, and some cloud can be seen over the north polar region at top. Just over an hours worth of data was merged to make this image, in variable but sometimes quite good seeing.

13.01.2022 Hi all, here's a colour image of mars from this morning. Olympus Mons is prominent at top left with the Tharsis volcanoes below and to its right. South polar ice cap at bottom and some clouds over the north and east limbs.
11.01.2022 The weather during the last few days wasn't great. I finally had a clearing today. Seeing was good. I am still trying to get a handle on getting the correct ...color balance with my Mars image, while keeping the polar ice cap as close to white and not over burning it. The dust storm has now reached the Hellas basin. There is a dust cloud over Hellespontus. It seems that this storm has not breached Sinus Sabeaus and a portion of the south pole remains clear. The Schiaparelli crater is clearly outlined.
