05.01.2022 The Countrywide crocodile seeder being used on drought affected land showing the ability to reduce soil damage by capturing water and trash/manure in the hole. These pictures show how the water was harvested off the paddock (23 mm) resulting in no run off and full retention. This speeds up the rehabilitation of drought affected land that normally takes years to recover, and will begin to grass up faster than if the land was left bare and water unable to penetrate. An import...ant point noted by the customer was that sheep do not walk in the holes resulting in nil compaction in the freshly created eco-system. The hole also captures dust and debris during drought times seen in the picture with the shovel showing the lines of every dust storm or rain event helping to regenerate the land. When first used in hard dry soil the crocodile holes look rough and jagged, but after the first rain is received the shape becomes more defined and the true benefit can be seen as is shown across these four photos.
