16.01.2022 Its been to long since I updated the socials. We have had an interesting quarter. Some personal health issues causing delays on works. Thankfully I am always blessed with amazing clients who were very patient and understanding. We had lots to get done this quarter and were on the back foot the entire time. We done a bunch of fence repairs and gate repairs for clients and had a mixed bag of paling, colorbond, timber and composite slat screen fences to complete. 10.01.2022 Sometimes we get to showcase our skills. This was a unique project that Collidge Constructions and Excavations turned to us to help with. The client had a particular vision. It had to be a clean modern look. Swinging gate was ruled out immediately and a slider was requested. After a site meeting ground track and hanging options were ruled out. Our solution was to use a cantilever system and hide as much as possible beneaththe deck boards. The gate frame was constructed fro...m mild steel and powder coated to match the colour of the core filled wall. Glass aluminium framed windows were inserted to match the raw aluminium framed windows of the home. We used a modern door handle to complete the look. 09.01.2022 The 100th post to celebrate the month of love! I was very lucky this month and was shown lots of love by understanding clients! I achieved a little this month. Some fences and gates, also structural steel work for a couple town houses. Thanks Collidge Constructions and Excavations for the structual steel work. 03.01.2022 Another month where I finish feeling proud and blessed! Thanks to all involved! We started the month at a slow March, remedial action was required for a new client in Moonah on a pine picket fence. We then ramped things up by helping out a repeat client with an access ramp to his deck. I then helped keep a mate afloat by rebuilding his rusted out horse float ladder chassis, thankfully he found the issue and no animals were harmed or killed. The pandemic of COVID-19 hit as w...e set some boundaries and built some fences for some amazing clients in Haskal Rd. Not an overly productive month, however I am very happy with what we got done. 02.01.2022 Making memories..... A big Thank you to all involved with us over the last two months. I continue to be blessed with amazing clients, friends and family. We didn't really hop into April like I had hoped. Covid19 lockdown stalled us costing us work at the start of the month, we floated like leaves on the breeze towards easter. Uncertain of where we would land. As other works were being planned and sorted a spanner was thrown into the equation. Lockdown was put in place, sch...ool closed early for the holidays. We stabilized and completed the horse float by adding a metal floor. We then secured a yard with a composite slat side fence and gates. We also made some steps safe for our lovely client in Lindisfarne. Unfortunately this is when the revised April schedule went up in smoke as the turbo let go on the work vehicle bringing us to a sudden stop We borrowed a vehicle and worked into the night to helped out a lovely couple with a new 1.8m boundary fence in Austins Ferry. Big shout out to my brother Ashley, for helping out with getting the incorrect supplied turbo on and running. Massive effort from him 12pm - 3am he only stopped to eat dinner! May this month have a little more flow! We started the month of May with home schooling, more scheduling on the fly... I had then had the pleasure of helping a client with establishing new boundaries between her house and the flat they had just completed in the back yard. We built a 2.1m quad rail lapped treated pine fence. With a small 1.8m triple rail lapped paling side fence, we added included a 1m gate to secure the yard for the flat. We then hit a bump in the road and weren't able to start a job on the Saturday due to concrete demands on our supplier. I must give thanks to Rebeckah for co-parenting with me and offering to home school the children for a couple days to allow me to get onto the next job. Howrah - we replaced a boundary fence next to a park. A 2.1m quad rail lapped treated pine fence was built to replace the old 1.8m We then headed to Brighton estate to clearly define boundaries for a series of clients in Haskel Rd. A crazy up and down couple of months. Thanks to all involved!
