24.01.2022 Hope this is helpful :)

20.01.2022 Today is R U OK? Day. Please take the time to ask the question to those around you. He is the website link for more information. https://www.ruok.org.au/

19.01.2022 The role of a dad is so important. This is a picture of a son made from the image of a dad.

18.01.2022 Whilst we are always here for any counselling needs, I also want to share the QFES support services page. If you need someone to talk to, please make use of any resources available to you. https://www.qfes.qld.gov.au//counselling/Pages/default.aspx

17.01.2022 Whilst anxiety and depression overlap, they are different. If you would like to talk to someone about feelings of anxiety or depression, we are hear. Life is meant to be lived, not simply survived.

14.01.2022 Always remember. The garden we water is the garden that will blossom. It’s the same with marriage. Let appreciate our partners today and say thank you often. Karen

09.01.2022 A child specific resource. Best to go through with your child but they could do it independently if needed.

09.01.2022 On our contemplative retreat, Christine and I also did a "Collage of our Soul" we than spent time reflecting on how God was in our Story. A great activity we would love to assist you in.

06.01.2022 Hope deferred makes the heart sick. Proverbs 12:6. Often our life isn’t how we had planned it to be. Sometimes it helps to have someone to talk to. Call us if you would like to work through some of life’s grief’s.

05.01.2022 Post no 1. Bart is bitter. Easy to happen hard to get rid of. Our response to someone else’s actions become our responsibility. Barts thinking is prominent in today’s world but dangerous. The only person this attitude will harm is Bart. Not the person who didn’t give him love. We need to surround ourselves with people who love honour and respect themselves and others. If you are drawn to people who treat you poorly you may need help to discover how to stop this and how to surround yourself with positive people. Picture 2 helps us with that.

04.01.2022 A good read :) https://www.christianitytoday.com//church-and-mental-healt

02.01.2022 Interesting read, but I feel like it highlights the ignorance in church around mental health issues. In my opinion, the issue is not that a pastor who struggles with mental health issues is unfit for duty, but rather that we need to be an inclusive community of people who aim to support all in their community. This includes their pastor. The issue is that people in leadership positions in church are often stuck between the expectation for them to be perfect, and the reality t...hat they are human. If they appear to fail in any area of life they potentially loose their job. This is a lonely place to be when you can not be authentic in any of your community circles. Pastors need to be able to be authentic, yet professional, and know that their jobs are secure. They need to be able to approach people and not be ok, and not feel like they have failed. They need to be able to ask for help and know that it is not going to be an issue from their congregations perspective. See more
