16.01.2022 Six silos painted during the COVID-19 lockdown! Benalla artist Tim Bowtell has been busy. While the worlds been in lockdown, hes added six new artworks in Colbinabbin, Victoria, to Australias silo art trail. The artwork depicts five different scenes from varying times through the town from the early 1900s to the 1980s, including Lu Lu, the local 1947 Austin fire truck, and Black Velvet, a tractor from the Tractor Pull competition in the 80s.... 07.01.2022 SERENITY NOW Local artists Ling and Callum Preston completed this new (and timely) mural last week in Collingwood. The 20-metre-long artwork is a tribute to the late actor Jerry Stiller, who played Frank Costanza in Seinfeld.... "Its a very strange time in the world, and Frank Costanza always seemed best under pressure, so why not," Callum wrote on Instagram. With Melburnians back in stage three lockdown, its something we can all relate to. And while we cant visit the mural in person, we can appreciate it from afar.
