22.01.2022 The first day of work after the start of the Tour de France is always tough. But not a tough as a Jens Voigt breakaway to take the KoM Jersey on stage 1! http://blogs.bicycling.com//hardlyserious/a-heck-of-a-start Also check out the interview with Andy Schleck on Cyclingtips:... http://cyclingtips.com.au//andy-schleck-i-just-a-missed-a/

22.01.2022 Bet the CGTT members in Europe are jealous that they were not here this morning...

22.01.2022 Can't wait to get a closer look at these!!!

21.01.2022 Back with the Monday Meltdown! 1. We feel sorry for the CGTT members over in the UK and Switzerland, who can watch Le Tour at a reasonable hour and ride in warm weather. Chris I like hills Mason is on Strava looking for more climbs, while Kath is putting up with his shenanigans. Lachie is on a Contiki tour but really cant wait until he gets to Spain for his own Vuelta. 2. Evan rode the Northern Combine handicap, but someone forgot to tell the riders that a 3km stretch was ...under construction so there were plenty of punctures and sketchy gravel conditions. 3. Drew rode to Mordy on Sunday. #Beachroad Check in this week for some exciting developments...

21.01.2022 Nicole and the team hard at work building kids bikes for The Smith Family at CG Camberwell

20.01.2022 CGTT member Drew is heading to Tokyo next week. Guess where he will be spending his time?

20.01.2022 Shop ride is on again tomorrow! 8am at Camberwell, easy pace, all welcome.

19.01.2022 Get into CG QV to check this out!!! Its unbelievable how light this thing is!!!

19.01.2022 Today on the Monday Meltdown, its been a busy week for the CG team! 1. The team from the shop were up in Port Douglas enjoying Phils wedding and there was plenty of water involved - like T-Pain, they were on a boat; chilling in the spa; and a bit of rain for the reception. Reports are in that many liquids other than water were consumed over the weekend. 2. Drew and Lachie headed up to the Nongs (for the first time for Lachie - why did it take so long?). It was a water base...d ride, with plenty of mist, fog and rain. Drew tested out his new Cycles Galleria Capo socks which offered great protection from the elements. Full review to come soon. 3. Evan was out at the three day tour representing for CGTT. Unfortunately a late start to the individual time trail meant that he was behind for the road races, so got to break away from the pack to try and sneak in a result. Have a great week and see you soon (maybe tomorrow at the Hells 500 #RFWYA)!

16.01.2022 Last weekend Chris raced in the Melbourne to Warrnambool road race and this is what he thought about it...

15.01.2022 Were back!!! #Tob2014 CG test team are here with a small team of Kath and Chris, with Evan a late scratching after an MTB crash last weekend... Stage 1 TT Kath (903) with be rolling down the ramp at 12.48:00 and Chris (338) will be off at 14.48:20

15.01.2022 Congratulations to Evan Henley, finishing 19th on Sunday at the Vic Metro Road Race championships, only 44sec down on the winner! We thought we would also brighten your Monday with an early #tbt featuring GCTT rider Drew in awesome fluro yellow lycra. This is where his love of cycling began, riding around New York/New Jersey in 2010 on a steel Rossini. Looking closely at the photos, he was yet to learn the rules of the Velominati (www.velominati.com/the-rules). Send us your early cycling photos, wed love to share how our love of the sport has grown!

15.01.2022 Chris and Kath are making us all jealous of their Eurotrip 2014 - this week, smashing the cobbles of Belgium!

14.01.2022 Celebrating Japanese innovation and creativity. 2 wheel drive bike. BMX running gear (24 x 9) on single speed Brooklyn Machine Works frame. Rear brake on 3Rensho track bike. Loving Tokyo.

12.01.2022 Hanging out at the CG Richmond opening!!! Get in there for a look soon

12.01.2022 Back with the Monday Meltdown! 1. Congrats to Chris Mason who, despite puncturing and managing to avoid the crashes, finished 6th in C grade in the Warny. Shout out to Kath who supported him on the long day. 2. Drew and Lachie got out to the SKCC crits again. Lachie raced in D grade, and launched a solo attack with three laps to go that was without success. Drew had his first SKCC C grade hit out and spent time moving around the bunch evaluating his competition for future att...acks. Have a great week!

12.01.2022 In the Monday Meltdown, it seems like we ran into similar trouble as Tony Abbotts cycling group but at a different location... http://www.smh.com.au//tony-abbotts-cycling-group-in-bikin Three of us went down, a few injuries and damaged steeds, but nothing that a bit of duct tape cant fix! (for road rash and broken carbon?)... A big shout out to the ambulance crew who came by to check us out and make sure we were generally in one piece.

11.01.2022 Chris and Kath's results after stage 2 of the Tour of Bright. Keep smashing it!

11.01.2022 What are you up to this weekend? CGTT will be getting down and dirty at the CX Championships tomorrow at Cranwell Park, then backing it up on Sunday for Round 2 of Dirty Deeds. Were looking forward to plenty of heckling, brewski hand ups and domination of the podiums! http://dirtydeedscx.blogspot.com.au/p/2014-round-2-ncxs-2-2

11.01.2022 New team bikes?

11.01.2022 After a few weeks away, the Monday Meltdown is back! 1. The CGTT hit up the Northern Combine Road Championships last weekend, congrats to Kath who took out 3rd in Masters women. 2. It was a Trek Boone party at Fields of Joy CX on Sunday, with Evan, Drew and Silvio being kicked in the face by huge wind and drowning in quick sand. Much suffering ensued. 3. Chris was away racing A grade getting ready for a big race - he will be hard to catch on any group ride! 4. Robin led the... shop ride to Beach Road for the usual Black Rock sprint. Rumor has it that Simon will soon be challenging Robins place on top of the podium, he is currently rostering his lead out train. 5. Jason smashed the Scott 24hr Male Solo 40+ taking home the biccies with an epic ride. The week ahead has St Kilda crits kicking off this Sunday with plenty of CGTT colours across the grades. Enjoy your week!

11.01.2022 Chris and Kaths results after stage 2 of the Tour of Bright. Keep smashing it!

10.01.2022 On the hunt for more bikes... First two shops I went to visit, W-Base and Sexton Super Peace no longer there. Then found Dream Works Cycles. Beautiful Marco Marastoni with Record parked out the front. This shop was a tiny hole in the wall but had a huge range of vintage tubs, hubs and gruppi. Enjoy!

10.01.2022 While we have been dealing with the usual Melbourne weather shenanigans, Chris, Kath and Lachie have been living it up in Europe. Here is week 2 of their adventures, a mix of the UK and Spain.

09.01.2022 So what are you doing this weekend? CGTT is going to smash some crits and Chris is going to have a crack at the "Warny"!!! Last weekend, Lachie was hanging out with his BH post SKCC race, enjoying a bit of sun.... Drew may even get promoted to C grade - the entry desk at HCC crits this week was dubious about his D grade status, clearly his quads are getting too big. Enjoy the weather this weekend and get a few kms in the legs!

08.01.2022 Cant wait to get a closer look at these!!!

08.01.2022 Now that the red tape has been cut it time to get in there and have a look for yourself!!!

07.01.2022 #bikeporn Mondays

07.01.2022 Great weekend of riding! Had a great crew head down to Mordy, short rain shower at Black Rock meant an early coffee stop, then again at Baby at Richmond on the way home - was very tempted by a breakfast pizza. First round of the SKCC crits were on again this year, with Drew and Ben racing in C and B grade respectively. In the C grade race, not many moves got up the road, everything was being chased down as usual until two riders got away as A grade was overtaking C. Drew was just chilling around the back for most of the race, but wanted to see some action so at 45min went on the front and brought back the break for fun. In B grade, a break went up the road successfully and took out the podium so no success for Ben this week. See you for the shop ride at Richmond, Tuesday at 6.30pm!

07.01.2022 Congrats to CGTT rider Kath for her second placing at the Masters State Championships yesterday!

05.01.2022 The Monday Melt Down: It was a massive week on the bike!!! Drews gone OS and got his Tokyo Drift on The Cravenator and JJ smashed Up the Strade Nero at the San Miranda Road Race, with a top 10 for Ben Evan went and got "Dirty" with his new Trek Boone with the Hells 500 crew ... Whilst Chris and Kath headed south and took on the undulating SMCC Main Ridge circuit... And stop press Chris "the breakaway chicken" finally won a race... Boom!!! See more
