21.01.2022 Just over 31 kms along Flinders Highway and enjoying the final day of stage 1.

18.01.2022 Now 91 kms into our 135 kms last day ride to Townsville - who said it was mostly downhill from Charters Towers?? We are also staying away from any river and creeks - we remember watching several crocs walking down the streets in Townsville a few months ago!!!! Lovely mountain scenery and a great sunny day for cycling again - we’ve been very very lucky!

15.01.2022 DONE IT !!!!! Ray and Rob cycled into Townsville at about 5:30pm and that is stage 1 of the cycle campaign done! Who said Queensland is flat?? IT IS NOT !!!!

04.01.2022 I would also like to take this opportunity to emphasise the huge help FTI Consulting has given to our campaign. FTI provided our cycle tops and made a donation of $7,500. In addition, many employees at the company also made a donation - thanks very much to everyone. Although not connected to the cycle ride, I must mention that FTI started a program in early 2018 to partner Starlight nationally. FTI has raised over $100,000 for Starlight in year 1 and continues to raise more ...from the combined efforts of staff personally and FTI corporate donations. FTI staff has also spent a day at the office packaging and mailing toy kits for 500 seriously ill children, contributed at the Starlight 5 chefs dinners in each state around Australia and have also set up Christmas gift wrapping stations !!! In addition, there is also the $20,000 that FTI corporate and staff have donated to other charities including Cerebral Palsy, Drought Angels,Mater Foundation and Ronald McDonald house. So proud to be working for such a great caring company !!!
