24.01.2022 My Cyclevison EDGE twin camera bicycle helmet captures a bus hurtling towards me at 100k, this is a bad situation as I’m negotiating the all too narrow bicycle lane along the Thomatis creek bridge, (there has already been a cyclist killed on this bridge) and with nowhere to go I’m trapped. Alarm bells are ringing 'big time' because I can see this leviathan approaching and its way too close to the bicycle lane (thanks to the rear vision live feed from my EDGE helmet to my smart phone mounted in a set of ‘Fangs’ on my bicycle handlebars) so im aware of the impending situtation and I’m not going to be startled and do something to elevate the danger, I have no choice, and one chance, I’m just going to hang on and hope like crazy that this ends well.

22.01.2022 Predominant forward vision from my Cyclevision EDGE Dual Camera Bicycle Helmet, as I take in the remarkable scenery around Redcliff Point, Tropical North Queensland. The ocean road between Cairns and Port Douglas is a picturesque 50k ocean side drive, however it’s an extremely challenging cycle ride to say the least, and not something I would recommend as an ‘elixir to longevity’ as the already too-narrow path soon runs out completely. Luckily for me (this time) the cars give me a wide berth as they swoop on by; no room for error here.

13.01.2022 It’s a beautiful day and I take the Cyclevision EDGE twin camera bicycle helmet with me as I take on the narrow shoulder of the road South from Ellis Beach, Tropical North Queensland, Australia. The sparkling turquoise sea to my left and the mighty green forests which adorn our island shores cascade endlessly down the mountains to my right. We may be well North of the fires which have devastated our island nation, but the resolve of its people in times of crises reminds me o...f a little-known second verse from our National Anthem which sings With Courage Let Us All Combine I don’t know exactly what Peter McCormick (the composer) of Advance Australia Fair was pertaining to in 1878, but, just perhaps the words are meant to be there for these special times when hardships and harrow take their toll, when the land is ravaged by fire unrelenting.
