21.01.2022 What up Cycos?!? I am pleased to announce we will be back open from June 1st. Priority will be given to those who were booked in before closure and to those who have given deposits. Those people will be contacted this week and given booking dates. As for those who are looking to book in new appointments, you can do so by calling or messaging from Tuesday the 26th of May. Please be advised that social distancing and patron limits will be in place. If you have been overseas recently or have any flu like symptoms please wait to book your appointment. 15.01.2022 Not his usual style but NailZ simply couldn't refuse the opportunity to tattoo the #Yggdrasil, the #Norse Tree of Life with all the bells and whistles. "An ash I know there stands, Yggdrasill is its name, a tall tree, showered with shining loam. From there come the dews that drop in the valleys. It stands forever green over Urðr's well." Yggdrasil holds the 9 realms of Norse mythology among its branches and roots: #Midgard, the realm of the humans around which the world serpe...nt, Jörmungandr bites his own tail. #Asgard, home of the Æsir Gods, #Jotunheim, realm of the Giants. #Niflheim, the realm of fog #Muspelheim, realm of the fire giants where Surtr is busy working on the sword he'll use to destroy Asgard. #Vanaheim, the home of the Vanir, the other Norse gods who were associated with fertility and magic. #Alfheim, home of the elves, #Svartalfheim, home of the dwarves and #Helheim, realm of the dead. In Yggdrasil's canopy sits a giant eagle and at its roots gnaws a dragon called Níðhöggr. A squirrel called Ratatosk runs up and down the trunk to deliver taunts and insults between the dragon and the eagle. Sol (sun) and Mani (moon) circle the sky pursued by two wolves called Sköll (he who mocks) and Hati (hate) seeking to devour them. The four stags called Dáinn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr and Duraþrór graze among the branches and a noose hangs from the tree near Midgard where Odin hung himself impaled upon his own spear, Gungnir for nine days in order to learn the runes. Included is the spring Hvergelmir but didn't find a way to incorporate Mimir's well where Odin sacrificed his eye for wisdom, at least not to my satisfaction at this stage. See more

Going on the latest Covid Roadmap it looks like we wont be open again until November 23rd unless something changes. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
