21.01.2022 My new project. 1970 vg valiant hard top. We've partially sanded down to bare metal and she's not too bad. I'll load more pics as time goes on. Just got a sand blaster unit so we can really get into her now.

15.01.2022 Nice big fat bags for the rear of the valiant. 295/50-15 tyres on 15inch bands with the original valiant sports rim centres set in. Keep it old school .Just got to align em and get them welded then sandblast and paint. Will look awesome

15.01.2022 Got the new inner guards welded in and painted. Tacked the new guard sections in to see how things line up. Came out not too bad. Few more tweaks and they will be fully fitted. ...Woohoo

14.01.2022 New 4.5t hoist fitted to handle the big awkward jobs the other hoists can't....extended feet to reach chassis etc....can do anything in the workshop now

14.01.2022 Few bits for the valiant. ...scored a new eagle 360/408 stroker crank. ..eliminator air gap high rise dual plane manifold and holley 650 double pumper....time to get serious and get the 360 block out and away for machining. ...This is the bit of the restoration I really know about

12.01.2022 One year ago tday I found this shed find.......heaps of sanding welding etc etc etc etc......one side roof and engine bay done....to putty stage anyways

11.01.2022 Dragged a ol mate brendon cripps out of bodywork retirement to help with the hardtop.....flick of primer just to seal her up. Now bodywork begins....if all goes well she'll be ready for top coats by the end of the year.....slow process but gonna be worth it

10.01.2022 Well most of the sanding is done.time to put a film of primer on then get into the dents. ...bit of bog and filing and more sanding. ...sprayed stone guard under the guards and inner guards. ...bolt em on and prime....slowly moving forward

10.01.2022 Been a while since I put something up but been flatout building my valiant wagon.......bit of fine tuning and she's done.......alex has bought the business off me so everyone please give him a go.....he's a brilliant mechanic and a top bloke.......anything you need done he can do it......here's a few pics of the val build...

09.01.2022 Another step forward.....but a scary one. Cut subframe to fit spring inversion kit in.....this will give me another 90mm of clearance for the big fat tyres.....now fully weld and start cleaning her belly to paint

02.01.2022 More sanding sanding. ....get my beloved vg coupe to bare metal. Start with a bare canvas so to speak. ....cut the last piece of rust out, made a new inner wheel arch section and tacked in. ...came out really well. .....now weld in fully grind and proofcoat.....slowly moving forward
