24.01.2022 We’re busy recruiting for the Summer season. We’re looking for experienced Sous Chef and Kitchen Hand to complete our kitchen team. Working alongside a Head Chef you’ll be creating and plating delicious food for our all-day menu (open 7 days a week- weekends are required) as well as the occasional pop up night event. We are now stocking their products, come in and take a look!

23.01.2022 We need your help Cygnet! Every year 32,550 children experiencing disadvantage, right across Australia, so they too have the opportunity to open a present on Christmas morning. Main gift ideas include board games, puzzles, neutral back-packs, footballs or lunch boxes. ... Filler gifts include arts & craft supplies, card games, vortexes and of course books! We are a registered donation centre for books and gifts. This has been a hard year for everyone, so we only ask you to donate if you are able to. All donations must be in by Sunday December 6th so delivery can be organised. Please leave gifts un-wrapped and ensure they are ready for immediate enjoyment (batteries etc). The Smith Family also ask that items be new, and not pre-loved. Let's get collecting!

The workshop will feature the creation of a Floral Garland, based on natural foliage including pine, native flowers, gum nuts and other foraged materials. 19.01.2022 The annual National Australian Ceramics Open Studios is on Sat/Sun 21/22 November 2020. This is usually held in August each year however this year due to COVID-...19 we are opening our studios in November. I have to say it is a much better time of the year for Tasmanian Potters. Those August days are often the coldest weekends of the year. Please feel free to call by and see what is at the end of those flags at the junction of Glovers Rd and Channel Highway Deep Bay, Huon Valley. I will be demonstrating and sharing clay stories from 10 til 4 each day. Light refreshments and a few bubbles might also tempt you to stop by. In these COVID times it is important to follow the rules. Hosted a friends baby shower there today and the effort the team went to, the above and beyon...d service we received for our entire time there, along with the absolutely beautiful space and amazing food blew all of us away!! Can not speak highly enough of your venue, your staff and your service. I live in south arm but will definitely be visiting frequently.....absolutely worth the travel!!
