25.01.2022 We are very grateful and delighted to be one of the lucky recipients of the Murrumbidgee Council Community Grant Program for 2020! Cypress View Lodge will receive $2,000 to go towards a much needed new server.

18.01.2022 Thanks to TransGrid's Community Partnerships Program Cypress View Lodge have received $5,000 to go towards our server upgrade, which will allow for larger internet capacity and speed for residents and staff.

15.01.2022 I am a huge supporter of community based rural and regional residential aged care and never fail to be impressed with the home cooked meals and beautiful surrou...nds of Cypress View Lodge at Coleambally which gives the residents a truly home-like setting. Congratulations to Cypress View who received funding through the Tackling Tough Times Together Program a solar upgrade worth more than $59,000 will assist to reduce costs, while funding of $18,500 through the Australian Government’s Stronger Communities Program allows for upgrades to the centre’s computers and server.

12.01.2022 The rain and cold has settled in over Coleambally the past few days. We asked the residents: "What is your favourite thing to do on a cold and rainy day?" How is everyone else keeping warm?

12.01.2022 Even with restrictions it’s wonderful to have family staying in touch with us through window visits. Margaret Fletcher was lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful visit with her Great Grandson Archie today with smiles all round.

10.01.2022 Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of meeting with the Australian Environment Minister and Federal Member for Farrer, Hon. Sussan Ley MP to discuss current and future developments for Cypress View Lodge. The visit covered our scheduled solar upgrade which has been funded through FRRR's Tackling Tough Times Together Grants Program (Round 16). The solar upgrade installation starts today after some delay with supply. This project means the Lodge can keep energy costs down and our carbon footprint small. We also had a chance to show off our newly installed server which allows larger internet capacity and speed for residents and staff. This project has been supported by the Stronger Communities Programme (SCP) Round 5 which funded 50% of the project's cost. #frrr #tacklingtoughtimestogether #strongercommunitiesprogramme

08.01.2022 Recently the residents enjoyed a window visit from the Coleambally pre-school kids. All the children were kind enough to make paintings to give to each of the residents and they now hang proudly in the activities room. In return the residents made and presented the preschool with personalised bunting. Thank you to the Coleambally Pre-school for organising the visit and the kids for the lovely paintings.

04.01.2022 Cypress View Lodge has become a 2020 Community Choices Champion. We were lucky enough to receive a $600 Grant from the Essential Energy Good2Give Grants Program. With this funding we have bought two seated elliptical exercise machines and one mini spinning exercise cycle. These seated elliptical machine provides a selection of options for gentle leg exercise whilst the mini spinning exercise cycle uses the arms as well. These machines are a fantastic addition to our current ...activities program. Not only are they versatile and mobile, they allow anyone even those with limited mobility to enjoy gentle exercise anywhere, anytime. They can be used outside, in a group setting, in front of the TV or in the privacy of their own room. Here are some of our residents giving them a workout. Thank-you @essential_au
