The Mt Norman section of Girraween National Park in Southern Queensland Country is one to put on your list... on this adventure find the ...amazing ‘Eye of the Needle’ rock formation, massive granite outcrops and wildflowers at this time of year too. There are a couple of ways you can approach this hike, with one option being to set off from the north from near the Information Centre and do a full day adventure to see Castle Rock (and even The Sphinx and Turtle Rock), plus Mt Norman all in one. There’s also a closer approach from the southern direction via Wallangarra. Do a little research before setting out and you’ll be glad you decided to explore this spectacular corner of Queensland, Australia.com .
